Winter in the Ötztal valley
The Ötztal holiday region offers winter sports enthusiasts a wide variety of activities, second to none. Immerse yourself in a top-class winter region and enjoy the most modern cable cars, perfectly prepared cross-country ski trails, premium infrastructure and much more.
In the ski resort
There is something for everyone in the Ötztal. The Sölden, Ötz and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski regions offer a total of 283 kilometres of pistes. The Sölden region also offers a glacier ski area, which means we can offer the highest possible guarantee of snow availability. The Steinadler is located in the middle of the Ötztal valley and only 20 minutes by car from Sölden.
Off-piste
The Ötztal valley also offers an unbelievable number of off-piste activities. Enjoy numerous well-prepared cross-country skiing trails, discover untouched places on ski tours, enjoy winter and snowshoe hikes or tobogganing with friends and family on one of the numerous toboggan runs in the Ötztal valley. A special winter highlight is Lake Piburg, on which you can enjoy ice skating.
After skiing
Relax in the Tyrol Therme Längenfeld. The heart of the complex is the spacious thermal spa hall, which makes you feel as if you are entering a cathedral. The two indoor pools are connected by "waterways" with the three characteristic open-air floating bowls - each of them staged to be surprising. Children have their own water world on the "Noah's Ark of the Alps". The various saunas - the loft sauna, the Heustadl sauna or the canyon sauna - offer the right heat experience for every constitution.
